NRG About us

The Network for Renewable Energy (NRG) was originally founded within the TUM-Energy network. Now the Munich School of Engineering (MSE)  is the umbrella organisation containing the inter-faculty research platform TUM-Energy next to the teaching offered at the MSE.

There is already an active participation of various disciplines to form the NRG: Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Electronics and Informatics, as well as the Centre of Life and Food Sciences Weihenstephan, the Walter-Schottky-Institut and the Bavarian Center for applied Energy Research (ZAE Bayern).

The research within the Network for Renewable Energy therefore has a wide range from nanoelectronics and material research, as well as microbiology and theoretical chemistry to biomass power stations, wave and solar energy systems, to mention only a few.
New partners are invited to join the network by sending an informal email to the coordinator.
